I said goodbye to Europe and followed the love of my life to the States the second I graduated from College. I’ve always been fascinated with photography and capturing beauty around me. I inherited my first camera from my Grandpa and it was my first love. But when my amazing husband secretly shipped my first professional camera to my doorstep while he was deployed in Iraq.  (how amazing is he?!?) I instantly KNEW that I wanted to become a professional photographer.

Since then I have upgraded to a full frame bad boy. But there will always be a place in my heart (and my camera bag) for my reliable old Nikon D80. 🙂 I am so thankful for the most supportive husband. I love being a work at home photographer and mom who is raising the most fun little people. When I’m not busy juggling all the mommy tasks, I can be found buried under a big blanket avoiding cooking dinner and munching on my favorite sweets.

Being a photographer has been such a rewarding experience. After shooting my first engagement session years ago, I met with the couple afterwards and revealed their images. Once the bride to be saw her images, she started crying. She hugged me because of how much she loved them. It was then that I realized, that I can create something special for my amazing couples.  I have been hooked on capturing memories in photographs ever since.
